Taking a plane from Toronto, we went via Montreal to the metropolitan adventure in NYC!!!
During the high season of 'Piggy Flu', we traveled in the US with a health alert. I especially have found that the American modern art quite fascinating through the tours of Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Broadway, and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
It would be impossible for me not to mention about the newly-opened Intrepid Museum, which features the WWII history of US in relationship with the Japanese.
I also found that as I walked through Walk Street that I discovered about my past, in relationship with my brother working in Hong Kong in the financial field. He now has decided to make a career change and wants to become a professor!
I indulged myself in shopping for an afternoon in the Rockefeller Shopping Area. I would love to try skating in the wintertime here, just like in the movie of 'Serependity' -- one day!!
I also spent the time to visit and pray in two churches in the vicinity!
St. Patrick's Cathedral http://www.saintpatrickscathedral.org/about.html
St. Malachy's Catholic Church http://www.actorschapel.org/
It was my first time seeing the St. Pat's relics!! My heart was so amazed and touched!!!
On the last day, I went to watch a light-hearted broadway show! Mamma Mia!!
It's truly cool where you sang the pop songs while dancing with your fellow audience in the hallways of the theatre =) ABBA rocks!!!
As the hot air balloon has brought us, we landed in a place where we found our past, present, and the future! I would hope that my friends who live in NYC lead a happy and peaceful life!! I miss you, NYC!!!
