New Career --> New Home

It is an exciting experience to be able to move on with something new.

Since last August, I have started working as a junior behavioral interventionist providing ABA therapy to kids with autism. I have gone through home sessions, as well as preschool for the moment. Working with various kids and colleagues, autism can happen to any cultural families and social economic factor. But one thing for sure, this is sth resulted from genetic influences, rather than 'poor parenting skills.'

Also, it was quite unique that I went to Victoria for Dr. Carbone's conference and met with people from the island. Apparently, my boss is very kind and supports me to continuously take courses to improve teaching methods.

Currently, I'm preparing to start teaching piano in ABA and it seems like this is sth that the parents are very eager to have their kids to develop - not an asset for earning big $$$$ for future career, but rather a tool for helping themselves of self-expression. If anyone is interested in sharing any info or teaching methods together, pls feel free to message me here.

The more I work in this field, the more I enjoy this. It does a lot of inner strength to overcome many challenging behaviors with kids, but I can assure you that this type of special education work really helps - growing personally!! In the past half a year, I really have to make myself to think and act maturely, living everyday to the best potential and always acting on the positive note. (some ppl can surprise me on this aspect)

As my boss says, "This is a life-long learning career." If you like it, you will really love it for the rest of your life. If you don't like it, you won't survive in three months.

Moving into a new homey is the upcoming BIG project. Yes, I'm very motivated to change the present lifestyle and wanted something that is more manageable.

The real estate market can be very confusing due to the complexity of network to be dealt with. Banks, law firms, insurance corps, and the gov't - you may fall into traps of spending extra money for not meeting the deadlines, may get sued if you don't sth fixed, may breech a contract for losing your choice of property if the right resources aren't pooled together...

I pray to God that this is sth that pleases You and keeps working towards a good vocation.
