Since I was a little girl, my daddy was filling me with stories back in the good, old days in La Salle College in Hong Kong! I doubt if half of them were right, half of them were just purely told for dramatic reasons... but I'm proud of my dad for who he is, even till now!
Although there seems to be a 'bad boy' image attached to La Salle boys, they really are good kids! They are smart, intelligent, and able to figure out creative ways of making you laugh (be it bad or good jokes!!). My dad was also proud for the fact that I studied in Maryknoll because I could continue his tradition of being brought up in Catholic schools (vs. Protestant in Diocesan girls that my mom wanted to follow my brother's footsteps).
I just want to let the young La Salle boys to know that without the old La Salle boys, there will be no present La Salle! No matter how bad you guys are, remember to salute to the old La Salle boys as you see them - as you guys sing the same, old song! Ha!! ''And no matter what we go!"
