Notably Sad Weekend

The past weekend was known as 'Black Saturday and Sunday' for me!

I battled with the world of unreasonable males in my life!
I dragged my supervisor back to work on crisis.
I directed the singers at the tree-lighting event.
I ignored the pleas and put down all house chores for exam-studying.

Just nuts, nuts, nuts!!!

Sometimes, I wonder why females have to do their work and be professional about it, when the males don't do them properly.

When I put pressure on them directly or indirectly, they usually realize how incompetent they are which I didn't want to do that in the first place. When I act too humbly, they just ignore you -- how funny is that?

If I only have to deal with one, that's fine.
Deal with two at the same time, ok.
Deal with three together? I'm blown off -- right there.

Glad that when I talked with some older ladies, they gave me a hand!
When I talked with older women (like mothers), I usually feel better right after!
Sometimes, life is like this! You cannot prevent bad comings, but you can learn how to handle and accept them with professionalism.

The only thing that did light up my gloomy weekend was the fact that my piano student (who has autism) started to play his first two songs by himself! His grandma was overjoyed for the fact that he was talking more about movies and music songs!! I was humbled by the immense grace upon this family...

PRIDE and HUMBLENESS have only a fine line of difference.
This family certainly teaches me a sense of humbleness and grace...
... more than anything related to be full of pride!

I also want to write an article in the future about 'Autism in Spiritual Lives'!
When I was playing piano at baptism this weekend, I saw poor Fr. Mark had to heavily prompt the parents and godparents to get faith into real actions by attending classes and listening to catechism.
I also agree with Fr. Mark.
If Catholics can learn well from catechism class, there is really no need to go into 'Life in the Spirit' seminars... this is just crazy when people try to do statistics without doing algebra first.
Keep watch, take heart.

My life is full of mostly females who are smarter than males.
Hopefully, my hubby can help me to change this point-of-view in the long run!
