The Ownership of Self-Reliance and Identity

This week, my emotions went through a roller-coaster ride. I could only concentrate on myself in making any betterment, because as I have made a big transition from teaching sp/ed to regular children professionally and moving into a new home personally.

I was very engraved by men and women who only engaged their own thoughts and pattern of behaviors, without working out anything that is 'in-sync' to support one another.

In fact, I felt deeply hurt for the fact that young men find other activities or pleasurable time over improving their status of deficiency in a commitment that they were unable to keep. I do not know how empowerment would work for men, because they also need the support, guidance, and help to express their thoughts, feelings, and actions to do a better job at what they want to do. For older women, I believe that the old wisdom of Mother Nature would help in guiding the expression of voice to the equality and freedom for humanity. Perhaps I do not possess good listening skills, I have been encountering some female voices that raise issues of discrimination and division between the old and the young. If we all could draw on our commonalities and work hard towards achieving the goal, we would all be winners in life to achieve new hope to free ourselves and be empowered!

ONE MOMENT IN TIME - Whitney Housten

Each day I live I want to be
A day to give The best of me
I'm only one But not alone
My finest day Is yet unknown

I broke my heart Fought every gain
To taste the sweet I face the pain
I rise and fall Yet through it all
This much remains

I want one moment in time
When I'm more than I thought I could be
When all of my dreams are a heartbeat away
And the answers are all up to me
Give me one moment in time
When I'm racing with destiny
Then in that one moment of time
I will feel
I will feel eternity

I've lived to be
The very best
I want it all
No time for less
I've laid the plans
Now lay the chance
Here in my hands

Give me one moment in time
When I'm more than I thought I could be
When all of my dreams are a heartbeat away
And the answers are all up to me
Give me one moment in time
When I'm racing with destiny
Then in that one moment of time
I will feel
I will feel eternity

You're a winner for a lifetime
If you seize that one moment in time
Make it shine

Give me one moment in time
When I'm more than I thought I could be
When all of my dreams are a heartbeat away
And the answers are all up to me
Give me one moment in time
When I'm racing with destiny
Then in that one moment of time
I will be
I will be
I will be free
I will be
I will be free
